All Students are expected to have their iPad at school everyday fully charged, with enough space to save class work and school apps. Students must abide by the standards outlined in the schools ICT Participants Agreement
Minimum Requirements
- Apple iPad (9th Gen), iPad Air (3rd Gen), iPad Pro (11in/12.9in) or newer of aforementioned models
- Can also be atleast two years old or newer model
- Minimum screen size of 10"
- Minimum 64GB storage capacity or larger
- iPadOS 15 (or newer)
- Protective Case / Cover (w/Keyboard)
- Screen Protector
Wi-Fi / Cellular
Our preferred option is an iPad without cellular connection (4G/5G) capability.
A Wi-Fi only model will reduce the cost of the device without compromising the student's ability to complete school tasks.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that all personal electronic devices are insured against accidental damage, loss and theft. You can either:
- Include the iPad on your home and contents insurance policy
- Purchase Apple Care Plus or Accidental Damage Protection at time of purchase

- Purchase from any retailer providing the iPad meets the school’s requirements.
- Coomera Springs SS families have the opportunity to purchase via the CompNow School Portal. The school receives no kickback from purchases but offers EDU pricing. The School can manage your warranty and insurance claims if you choose to go this route.
