The Queensland Engagement and Wellbeing (QEW) Survey collects data from Queensland state schools in a consistent and systematic way to gain a better understanding of the wellbeing and engagement of students.
It measures many aspects of students' wellbeing, engagement and experience at school.
Data from the survey will help schools to monitor their school culture and student wellbeing in line with the Student Learning and Wellbeing Framework (PDF, 535KB) External link and Equity and Excellence: realising the potential of every student strategy External link.
The results from the survey will help the department and schools determine how best to support students.
When will the survey take place?
The QEW Survey is run in Weeks 1 to 4 of Term 2 each year. CSSS will be conducting the survey with all students in Year 4-6 on Monday 22nd April (Term 2, Week 2).
